On behalf of the honorable General Board of Directors we inform you that our Lord has called Pastor Arturo Ortíz into his presence today Tuesday, February 14 in the morning.

Brother Ortíz was the acting Auxiliary Elder of Sector Three (Virginia State) for the Northeast Coast District and the Pastor in Chesapeake, Virginia.

He was born on January 29, 1949 in Monterey, Nuevo León, México. He was born again on May 19, 1982 and spoke in new tongues when he was filled with the Holy Spirit on July 20, 1982. He was initiated into the ministry on March 27, 2004 and two years later was ordained on March 1, 2006. That same year Pastor Eliseo Sánchez and Bishop John Fortino commissioned him as a National Evangelist to Chesapeake, Virginia where he established the Apostolic Assembly.

Elder Ortíz is survived by his wife, our distinguished sister Graciela, and his children, Arturo Jr., Gabriella, Rosy, and six grandchildren. Please cover the Ortíz family with your prayers.
